There are many aspects of the Mac OS X operating system that we want to change, but we would have to look through countless options for the options. iTweax places a wide range of customization options right in front of you. It gives you the possibility of making all sorts of tweaks to your operating system from a single user interface. The application is absolutely free and it works on numerous OS X versions.

The application's controls are neatly categorized on separate tabs. You can find options for general maintenance, system tweaks, cleanup and for restoring the system to a previous state. Furthermore, the options in each category are organized on several sub-tabs.

Most tweaks can be made by simply clicking their corresponding check boxes and clicking an Apply button. You can find options for running daily, weekly or monthly scripts, for rebuilding certain system elements and others. The largest selection of options can be found in the Tweaks section, where you can find eight tabs with various options. You can enable, disable, hide, reveal and modify numerous aspects of the Finder, Dock, web browser and more.

With iTweax's cleanup options, you can remove junk files that were created by web browsers or by the system itself. Just like the maintenance or tweaking operations, all you have to do is click a series of check boxes and an Apply button. If you change your mind about certain tweaks and you can't remember where you have enabled them, you can access the final category on the user interface, where you will find options for restoring the system to its default state and for restoring it from a backup.
